This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued for contest entry fees, event registrations, and other paid services on Code Dream.

2. Contest Entry Fees

2.1 Non-Refundable After Contest Starts

Contest entry fees are non-refundable once the contest has started. This policy ensures fairness to all participants and maintains the integrity of the competition.

2.2 Refunds Before Contest Starts

You may request a refund up to 1 hour before the contest start time. Refunds will be processed to your wallet within 24 hours.

2.3 Contest Cancellation

If we cancel a contest, all entry fees will be automatically refunded to participants' wallets within 24 hours.

3. Event Registrations

3.1 Cancellation by User

  • More than 7 days before event: 100% refund
  • 3-7 days before event: 50% refund
  • Less than 3 days before event: No refund

3.2 Cancellation by Code Dream

If we cancel an event, all registration fees will be refunded in full to participants' wallets within 48 hours.

4. Wallet Deposits

4.1 Refund Eligibility

Wallet deposits are generally non-refundable. However, refunds may be considered in the following cases:

  • Duplicate payment due to technical error
  • Incorrect amount charged
  • Payment gateway errors

4.2 Refund Request Process

To request a wallet deposit refund, contact our support team within 7 days of the transaction with proof of the error.

5. Technical Issues

5.1 Platform Downtime

If platform downtime prevents you from participating in a paid contest, you may be eligible for a refund or contest credit at our discretion.

5.2 Submission Errors

If technical issues on our end prevent you from submitting solutions during a contest, please report immediately. We will investigate and may issue refunds on a case-by-case basis.

6. Refund Processing

6.1 Processing Time

  • Wallet refunds: Within 24-48 hours
  • Bank account refunds: 5-7 business days
  • Payment gateway refunds: 7-14 business days

6.2 Refund Method

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method or to your Code Dream wallet, depending on the situation and your preference.

7. Dispute Resolution

If you disagree with a refund decision:

  • Contact our support team with detailed information
  • Provide any relevant screenshots or evidence
  • We will review your case within 5 business days
  • Final decisions will be communicated via email

8. Exceptions

Code Dream reserves the right to make exceptions to this policy in extraordinary circumstances, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemic situations, or other force majeure events.
